Corrections, questions and ideas for new tools all go to the same inbox.
We usually reply within a few business days. There’s no contact form on purpose: a form would mean collecting and storing your details, and this site is built not to.
Reporting a wrong figure
Corrections get priority. Laws, loan rates and minimum wages change every year, and a figure that was right last year may not be right now. To make a correction quick to check, please include:
- Which tool, and which state if it’s state-specific.
- The figure currently shown, and what you think it should be.
- The statute, agency page or official source you’re relying on, if you have it.
On the security deposit tool, states marked Secondary only or Sources differed are the likeliest to need fixing, and the most useful to hear about.
What we can’t answer
We can’t advise on your individual situation. This site isn’t a law firm or a financial advisor, and nothing here is legal, financial or academic advice. For a deposit dispute, lease problem or eviction, try your school’s student legal services (many colleges offer them free) or a local legal aid office. For financial aid or loan questions, contact your school’s financial aid office or your loan servicer. For grades, talk to your instructor or academic advisor.
Ideas for new tools
If there’s a calculation you keep doing by hand that belongs here, send it. If it comes up for you, it probably comes up for plenty of other students too.
